Since January 15, 1967, the top two professional football teams have played against one another in the final showdown of the season. This year, catch the BIG GAME on Sunday, February 5th, and enjoy these fun facts and these “MINI TACO BOWLS!” … #1: Back in the 60’s, NFL Championship Commercials cost under $40,000 to secure thirty seconds of air time. These days, an Advertiser pays over $5 Million for those same thirty seconds. #2: Buffalo Chicken Wings continue to be one of the most popular snacks to eat during football game, with chips and a variety of dips not far behind. Why not add a little new flavor this year to the feast?

    (1) pound ground beef
    (2) tablespoon taco seasoning
    (1) tomato, diced
    (1) bell pepper, diced
    (1) onion, diced
    (10) corn tortillas
    (2) cups cheddar cheese, grated

Saute’ the ground beef in a large skillet on medium-high heat until it is brown, about ten minutes. Remove the beef from the heat, drain, and stir in taco seasoning as directed. Set aside. Cut the tortillas into four-inch circles. Press the tortilla circles into a muffin pan and bake at 350 degrees F for ten minutes. When the tortilla bowls have cooled, fill each one with beef and diced vegetables. Top the taco bowls with cheese and serve. LADIES, WHY NOT HAVE A “MINI TACO BOWL” MAKING PARTY TO GET REVVED UP FOR THE GAME?!
